How long will the Loft Conversion take?

This really depends on how complex the conversion will be. It could take between four to eight weeks to complete, sometimes even more.
Don’t forget that the relevant permissions will need to be gained before work can start. Premier loft conversions will help you with this.

For the first part of the construction the builders will need access through the roof. The joists will be the first thing to be strengthened to support the new furniture and people, and then any other structural works will be completed.

Now the internal structure can be built with interior walls and door ways constructed.

Breaking through into the rest of the house is next so that the building of the new access staircase (these must be built to conform to loft conversion building regulations) can be built, plus the electrical work, plumbing and plastering is completed.

Now the final stage of decorating and furnishing can be completed.
